The Tiger in this photo is known as 'Rayakasha'. He is the alpha of the turia region of Pench. He had gotten into a fight with a new male and was injured. The Forest Department was in search of this male , to tranquilise him and nurse his wounds. During this sighting, there were so many gypsys that a gypsy behind our gypsy bumped into us. Luckily the gypsys made way to let 'Rayakasha' cross. He wasn't borthered by the huge number of gypsys and the loud noise of the engines. He crossed the road and disappeaeed into the thicket. Many gypsys tried to follow him. We chose not to follow him.
