    Hi Nitin,

There is the famous Borivali National Park which you can visit sometime. This site can give you some details - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanjay_..._National_Park

    Hi Nitin,
You could visit Sanjay Gandhi National Park, as Mrudul has suggested.
2 other good places for birdwatching are Karnala Bird Sanctuary and Uran, both are about 1 hour away from Mumbai by car.
Karnala has a very good variety of bird species, especially winter migrants around this time of the year. There is also a fort at Karnala, which you need to trek to. The top of the fort is a great place to see and photograph raptors. You can get there by ST bus.

Uran is made up mostly of wetlands where one can see migratory waders. You will need a private vehicle to go around Uran, since it is spread over a very large area.
