    Default Crested Serpent Eagle

This one is from Bhadra WLS and taken during the evening safari. This image is a big crop.

    450D
    EFS 55-250mm IS
    f/5.6
    1/15
    ISO 200

I gave a +0.7 step exposure compensation but with hind sight now I feel I should have increased the ISO speed to get a faster shutter speed.

Sooper sharp for a 1/15 shutter. The branch looks sharp. Have you used noise reduction here . The details on the bird seem muted . On a 450D , you can go upto ISO 800 for fairly noisefree images.

I tried a bit of WB correction , levels and sharpening here.
Let me know if you like it.

Wow! The edited image is way better than the one posted by me. I see a bird which is sharper and has much better details on it. The colour too has come out very well. Thanks a lot for your time and effort, Rakesh.

Regarding your question, yes, I did use Canon's Digital Photo Professional for noise reduction.
