    Default Different shot

Saw this bird quite close to me, so i tried to take a good close up. A little different than the full bird images.

    Canon EOS-1D Mark II, 100-400 IS USM lens, 1/50 , F8, ISO 200

    Hi,
The picture has captured even the expressions in the bird's eye,,
I wish the background was darker to make it stand out,, but then maybe the expressive eye would have lost its effect,,

Interesting perspective. I am wondering at what time you created this image. Somehow I feel, proper light conditions would have made it more dramatic.

    Thanks.

    Raheel,
One way to look if the picture is sharp, is by chekcing if the eyes are sharp or as you said expresssive. A clear background enhances the image.
You can check this link from the Tips section on sharpness:-

I took this shot in the morning, but it was quite cloudy, so maybe I should have increased the ISO a bit.
