    Photographed this at Ranganathittu a few months back.

    Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, ISO 200, 1/250, f7.1, full frame, hand held

    Nice image. A little less space at the left would have been nice. I like the ruffled feathers and the head angle. I'm on an uncalibrated monitor so might be inaccurate, but a -1/3 EC would have been nice here. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice pose and compo, Mrudul! I liked the gentle head turn in the image. Highlights can be toned down further. That's a typical problem with this bird - getting the head right affects the rest of the body. How about reducing the exposure by 1/3 and then burning the highlights in PS?

    Beautiful image, it is typically problem in R'Thittu about the light. In my view light on the rock is a bit distracting, i guess Mrudul has already reduced the highlights, probably reducing exposure may help. But this image as is good.
