Its indeed a nice behavioural shot. The parakeets are a mischievous lot.
I think this is second time, we are seeing a parakeet shot from you! Thanks for sharing! Coincidentally, here too the textue of the tree bark is superb. The sharpness is also commendable.
I am wondering if a higher apperture (f8, f11) would have worked here better. Somehow a sharp background tree trunk would have appealed me more (personal opinion). The half blurred trunk is somehow distracting to me.
The upper part of the parakeet is a tad overexposed. But, overall, its a cute image. The technical composition is indeed nice.

Thanks.I had photographed lot of parakeets in the last few months so posting from those shots
I agree a higher aperture would given the depth of field to cover the bark, but when I was photographing, that bark was not in the frame. When it turned upside down, the bark was visible in the frame.But in that few seconds I could not increase the aperture my main focus was to capture this behaviour
