Nice cute bird. I would have liked to see the bird placed more 'into' the frame..it appears to be put too much in a corner. All the same, this composition has its own appeal. Nice eye contact. I wish you had carried your 500 f4 to this place.

Wish you a terrific trip to Brazil Ah, by the way, please accept advanced birthday greetings!

Nice, well composed Photograph .Rare and Lovely Bird restricted to Goa and some part of Western Ghat, I think. The Mind and Thought of our Generation have been moulded by writings of distinguished M.Krishnan and E.P.Gee etc. and Habitat must be present. The Branch with Leaves has made this Photograph much more attractive to me.This is THE STATE BIRD OF GOA.Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Good shot. I've never managed to find this bird in the open. Would have liked the bird more to the left, but not sure as that would bring the plant very close to the left frame edge.
Wish you a great trip, look forward to many stunners from Brazil on your blog .

    Default lovely!

Agree with others on the composition. Would have worked better by placing the bird more into the frame.

    Lovely shot nevertheless.

    Have a wonderful trip.

The leaf patterns look nice. I am okay with the composition as moving the bird more to the thirds position would have meant cutting the leaf off. So this seems like a god trade off at the end of it. Thanks for sharing.
