Nice walking pose. The details are fine. You can crop the hint of grass on the top as that further divides the frame into 4 parts. Nice sighting. Seems there were lot of sighting on the lake in Kabini. When was this photographed? Thanks for sharing.

Nice walking pose. The Mugger or Marsh crocodile(Crocodile palustris) is most adaplable and could be seen in a good number of forests.I have seen it in Corbett(Kalagarh Lake),Ranthambhore and Tadoba Andhari T.R.
Orissa is the only State where all the three species found in India are seen in the Wild. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Thanks for the information Saktipada Sir.

    Mrudul,

This trip to Kabini was my first to any forest reserve in Karnataka. I've earlier been to Periyar Tiger reserve Thekkady and Muthanga in Waynaad.

Kabini was an amazing experience. A lot of rare sightings. I will share pictures of other sightings too shortly.

This was also the first time I'm handling my own DSLR. I used to carry a Nikon L120 and experimented on my friend's DSLRs before.

And already a valuble lesson learnt in paying attention to the ISO courtesy India wilds experts.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Vijay
