The bg seems quite bright. Agree with You and Sabyasachi, this guy does look a bit alarmed. Was the bird nesting nearby to raise an alarm? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks all for your feedback. This was clicked last month in Srinagar.
There, the compounds are usually huge with lots of trees and you can spot a variety of birds happily flying aorund, except for some umwelcome guest, like the stray cat which alarmed this guy.
In Bombay, I get to see only pigeons and crows
Even in places like Borivali national part and Karnala bird sanctuary, you hardly have any sightings these days.
