Bera is an unique (if a bit controversial) ecosystem where leopards cohabit and are thriving in the midst of farmland and human settlements. Yet they are completely wild. This pic was shot off the main hill - Liloda, home to the leopardess Zara who Thakur devi Singh has been studying for many years now. In this pic is Charger her almost adult cub, who still stays around her and one of her latest cubs. The small cub's tentative stance and Charger's bold stare made it a special image for me.
Shot with the Nikon D90, Nikkor 70-300mm, 270mm, ISO 400, 1/60s - F/7.1. Shot with a bean bag.
