White tailed eagle : Juvenile
Dear All,
Made a deepawali visit to Taal Chapar to primarily to escape the noise and smoke of Delhi and also to see the rarely seen white tailed Eagle which had been spotted in the Sanctuary. The eagle, one of the largest raptors in the world is primarily a seabird of the far-northern hemisphere with its range spanning from Greenland to Siberia.
Vagarants have been spotted in Kaziranga, Uttarakhand and also Nagpur. What this bird was doing so far from its range is a mystery.
