    Default Sambar Crossing

It had rained in the morning just sometime before our safari in Tadoba. The rain played spoil sport as we could not really spot many animals. As we were driving we saw these sambar brothers crossing in front of us. We stopped and observed them. The bigger male first let the other sambar cross and then when he saw no signs of any danger from us slowly crossed himself.

One of them has its tail raised, as a sign of alarm. The other one, though it hasn't raised its tail, it is watching you.

Nice behavior captured. It shows how cautious they are. Wish the shutter speed was a bit higher for more details. Thanks for sharing.
