    Default Walking the Tight line

    ID: Giant wood Spider?

Spotted this beauty just next to the stream of the Shilonda trail. the web had this beautiful and mighty lady and a puny male, though the male was retrieving from the web while this mighty one was roaming along the web, probably checking on the motion on its web? The location was so wonderful, though with slightly challenging lighting and also that the spidey kept on moving around, making it slightly difficult to frame it properly, but eventually ended up getting this frame. Was on a lookout for a frame with the male and the female, but the retrieving male just didnt fit in any frame as it was far off from the mighty one

The side-profile shot gives an impression of the spider dangling from a thread. The depth of field from this angle will only cover a tiny portion. Even f14 can hardly help. Have you done noise reduction? Thanks for sharing.

The male will always be wary of the female.
