    Default Tusky -Bandipur

I have seen this big guy thrice near the forest check post on the gundulpet side of the bathery-gundulpet road. He hates vehicles and makes it very clear to the adventure seekers. The Checkpost staff told me sometimes he brings traffic to a halt by parking in the middle of the road , throwing mud and charging smaller vehicles. I kept my distance and he allowed me a few pics .It was thrilling to watch him strut across the road.

    Nice perspective. Looks good.

I have seen this guy the other day near the main road. He needs his space. The problem arises when people don't respect his space. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

Nice image. The walking pose is nice. I agree the way people honk and speed that might be surely annoying him. I have seen elephants in Bandipur are getting more impatient because of the constant human interference. Thanks for sharing

Fantastic image. If he was in a mud track or on any other natural ground, it would have been great.

Perhaps he had a nice swim in the pool for his tusks are gleaming...
