Shot this in Hesarghatta on the weekend along with Mrudul, the image is full frame. During this shot my TC was connected hence missed out on complete bird and the mound. However later I managed few shots just with 500mm as well, will post them soon.

Lovely details. One can get a good idea about the feather pattern in the ventral side. Nice eye contact. It seems the kite knowingly closed its wings partially, so that you can get it in your frame. :-)
