    Canon 50D, 100-400 mm L IS USM, f6.3, ISO 400, 1/160, hand held, full frame

    Nice rare image .It appears to me as Blue-tailed Bee-eater(Merops phillipinus).Might have been photographed in the winter.Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

    cutie! Nice one with a prey. I agree with the composition. The background is nicely diffused. Image is sharp even at a relatively slower shutter speed. Thanks for sharing.

    Lovely image Mrudul. The bee eater with a bee/wasp looks very nice. The colours have come out well. The bg is also nice. Overall a very nice image. What was the focal length ? Thanks for sharing.

    Murugan, this is a full frame image so it is 400mm i.e 560 with 1.6 crop.

    Nice one mrudul.good eye contact, nice pose and even BG. Maybe you can shift the copyright to the other end.

    I agree. I had just changed the copyright mark and after converting the image I realised it is a bit too big for my taste. I will edit it again in Lightroom.
