Nice natural history moment captured. Moving a bit more to left would have helped to get them more parallel to the sensor giving more depth of field. Did you try a vertical composition? Thanks for sharing.

no this was in a middle of bush and i had to slowly got inside bush as much as i can without disturbing and i shot them horizontally
Nice to see a mating pair. May be a wider aperture keeping the camera parallel to the wings would have helped in an even better diffused background. Thanks for sharing.

These are Plain Tiger butterflies Danaus chrysippus, closely related to the Monarch (in Africa it is called the African Monarch). Nice find. Agree with the above suggestions.
