    As it was far away qualty ws nt good and I cropped it...

    Nice sighting.Agree there is loss of details. If the bird is far off, after taking a couple of images, if it is still steady you can try to move closer slowly, mostly by getting down or by hiding, that way you would be able to get closer without disturbing it.     Keep on trying. There are many instances that you won't get an acceptable shot. However, you need to keep on persevering. And when you get sharp close up without cropping then you will realise that you have done well. Thanks for sharing.
