Thanks Mrudul !!! No, its not a crop & full frame on APS-C sensor of Canon 550D. Wish to have a wide angle lens sometime soon.

Were you handholding? It is always better to use a tripod or place it on a rock or hard surface and click. You can then use a lower shutter speed and narrow aperture like f11 etc.
