    A very colourful bird. Nice perch and clean background. The web below the branch looks nice. Seems the light was low. Was any sharpening done? Thanks for sharing.

    Lovely capture.... Its almost a year since I had seen this bird in real.... so far managed to capture only once.... That too record shot.. Thanks for sharing

    Cute bird. Shutter speed was pretty low. Some sharpening artifacts on the body visible. The web adds to the image. Thanks for sharing.

    Lovely image Dr.Katre. Did you get to spot any panthers in Dandeli? Hows the crowd there, I heard the once tranquil place is slowly losing itself to commercialization. Thanks for sharing.

    thanks everybody, Murugan, i wasn't lucky to spot any such predator. the place is not exactly tranquil now, but not too crowded. fortunately so far i have come across like minded photographers.
