The composition looks nice. Nice perch and eye contact. There are some slight highlights on the bamboo and the branch, you can recover them. Is this a crop? Thanks for sharing.

This is such a beautiful scene. Wish more of areas you had in focus. The critical focus is not on the bird. When you crop that becomes more evident.

Yes this is a cropped image. I intended to show the bird as large as I could possibly keeping the scene in the frame. But I would like to know more about how I should / should not crop any pic. I am attaching the uncropped image here. Thank you.
