The perch and the eye contact is nice. Nice habitat. It seems it was far, so due to the crop there is loss of details. I agree photographing these small birds can be difficult. You can try to go closer by using a hide or sitting patiently at a place if you know the bird comes to that spot. Thanks for sharing.

These are very small birds. So it is not easy to get them even with a long tele. Bird photography is equipment intensive. However, if you have the patience then set up even a makeshift hide or just park your car near a tree and wait for several hours without making much noise. You should get sightings if the place is chosen well.
