The eye contact is nice. The composition looks too tight for me. Some more space all around would be good. Was any sharpening done? I think due to the crop or sharpening there is noise in the background. You can use Av priority more instead of Auto and use ISO in the range of 200 to 800. In this case ISO 400 with a shutter speed around 1/200 would have sufficed. Thanks for sharing.

The eye contact is fine. There seems to be something blocking the view? There is lot of noise. How much of a crop is this?
