    Default Yellow Throated Marten

While waiting and listenting to jungle sound suddenly noticed this Yellow throted Marten leaped across the forest road. Martens are generally fearless as they have no natural predators and they have very unpleasant odour. NIKON D 7000, 500mm, F 1/13, exposure 1/2500, aperture 5.3, ISO 6400.

Very rare sighting. Have not sighted this in the wild still . Nice you got it in mid-air. Seems the light was quite low. Thanks for sharing.

Very very rare sighting. The nicely documented leap on ground is indicative of its keeping balance on trees aided by such a long tail. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Nice to see a yellow marten in mid air pose. I had seen it long back in Corbett in 2005 in the Bijrani range.

I think slightly less space at the bottom would be good. A bit more brightness would have been nice. Thanks for sharing.
