From the size of the logs, the kingfisher appears rather large.

The bird is standing tall, but it does look big, in particular the huge beak. It would have been great if you could have been closer and got a good closeup.

My all efforts of getting closer were marred by this bird. It maintained exactly around 25-30 ft distance from me. I had run for around 500 meters behind it.

That bill looks unusually huge... as if the bill of a STORK BILLED KINGFISHER was glued to the body of a white breasted...:-D
