NICE documentation of Nictitating Membrane in the eyes of CSE. It protects the eye as third eyelid normally activated just before action. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Nature has an amazing way of bestowing tools as per necessity and takes away the ones that are not used. As Dada has rightly mentioned, when two of them are fighting, the nictitating membrane covers the eye.
