    Sorry for the late reply! Nice work finding the ID Abhirup, it does look like an Acrida grasshopper. How did you get to the species though? Guesswork or anything definitive?

    I got this information from a member named Mr.Shivakumar V.K. of another wild life photo shearing site and matched this information in google image.

    Good to see this. The camouflage is interesting. One is likely to miss it at first glance. A wider composition would have been nice. Thanks for sharing.
