    Default Sleepy Leppy | Male Leopard

    This was photographed at Kabini, Recently visited kabini after 4 long months,
    nice to see forest in lush green and Filled Backwater.
    Did Two safari's and lucky to sight 2 big Male leopards, Serpent eagle with Striped Keel back kill, Brown fish Owl with Myna Kill, and Tusker's and Gaurs, overall it was a great trip.

    Nikon D7100, Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/4D IF-ED + AF-S Teleconverter TC-14E II/14E
    F/8, 1/500s, ISO 640.

    Sleeping beauty. Comfortable bed, well chosen by the leopard. Good composition. Looking at the image,' a feeling of compassion creeps into my mind.'

    Nice sleeping pose captured. The composition looks fine. Is this a crop? Good to know you had some interesting sightings in Kabini. Look forward to more. Thanks for sharing.

    It is always nice to see a leopard.

    Tough scene as the leopard's head is not close to the camera. Depth of field wise it becomes difficult. We know that it is difficult to move the vehicle at times. However, moving to the left would have been better as the hind portion, being closer than the head, is more prominent. It is good that you used f8. Thanks for sharing.
