Default Asiatic Elephant in evening light

I took this photograph in Nagarhole a few months back. It was afternoon time and the light was a bit harsh.

    Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, ISO 200, f6.3, 1/100

Good sighting. The diagonal tree trunk and the bright trunk in front are a bit distracting in my opinion.

Good one. It seems the tree in the front is debarked earlier. It is good that you got the entire elephant in the clear. A narrow aperture would have been better. However, your shutter speed was already low. A higher ISO would have helped.

Nice one Mrudul, no nits. The diagonal branch is a distraction but can't be helped.

    Thanks all for the comments.

The trees and branches were obstructing view a lot, I had to wait till he came out in the open to get a clear view.
