    Default Albino Blackbuck

Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon EF 400mm f2.8 L IS USM, EF 1.4xII ie at 560mm, ISO 400, f4, 1/400, EV: +1/3, full frame image.

It is a bit tight at the right where the tail is about to touch the right frame. I was hiding and had no chance to go back for a wider frame.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Lovely stride. Liked the low angle. Would have loved some more eye contact. Have to see this one still .

I like the low angle. Its got a snobbish look on its face ..
Wondering that had this blackbuck been in the 'wild' it would probably not have survived that long. the IIT campus is a sanctuary for it luckily...

    Snobbish?

It was in IIT Campus. Its a huge campus and these fellows and deers roam around freely. The other side is Guindy National park. However, it is not tame by any stretch of imagination. It was very skittish and ran away at the slightest sign of humans. Perhaps due to it being an albino, there is more attention. So it runs away faster than other blackbucks. Ofcourse, there are trophy collectors who would salivate when they see one.

    Cheers,

Interesting image. But too tight to my taste. I think you have other shots of this guy.
