    Default Gaur

    A lone gaur at Kabini

    400D, Canon 100-400 EFL, F 7, 1/30, ISO 100. The focal lenght was around 175 mm.

I should have possibly had the Apreture around 5.6 and bumped the ISO to around 400 to gain a little more shutter speed, which in turn would have made the picture sharper . . . . .

    regards
    Rajan

    Rajan,
I like the composition and the light. The way the tail is raised and leads the eye into the image is nice. I agree with you that 1/30 shutter speed is too low to arrest subject movement. Since you were in ISO 100 bumping it up to ISO 400 would have been good.

    Cheers,

Nice light. Sharp. You got a good angle. As you have already mentioned a higher shutter speed would have helped.

    Nice one Rajan...
    Agree abt the shutter speed...
Wondering what would have happened to you had you taken the same composition with humans... (LOL... No offense meant)

Nice, but the light seems a bit harsh. Would have also prefered an image where the animal was not urinating.
