I would zoom out to have the entire tail. Some more space around it would have been good as well. It is not always easy to get good images of these fellows as they are normally in dense vegetation. One needs to catch them when they come to the lower branches.
When the next time you are clicking, remember to increase the EV ie. give a positive exposure compensation of say +1/3rd or 2/3rd if sky is there as a background.
