    I love the background. What was it? Green fields? I believe positioning the bird more to the right of the frame and leave lot of space infront would strengthen the image.

    Yes, green fields (i think it was paddy)

    On the composition, this was a very cooperative bird. I have shots of this on the left, right and even one on the bottom corners each . . . . but somehow preferred this one . . .

    Agree about the compo and am curious about the CPL filter? Circular polariser? If so you don't need it for wildlife photography.

    Agree that the CPL is not needed for wildlife photography, but wanted to see the effect of the colors (especially the BG) since the light was just at the right angle for a CPL.
