Strange looks

Clicked it as a record shot. This was in Daroji Bear Sanctuary. Any idea why this fellow looks like this. Very less hairs on the body. Ofcourse it was raining that day. However, found it strange.

Canon EOS 40D, EF 28-135 IS USM, ISO 800, f5.6, 1/200, full frame.

I'd say bad hair day... Probably ran through a hedge while it was being trimmed...

The environment looks great here, but I feel cropping out a major part of the bush on the left might enhance the image...(?) A higher shutter speed to freeze the front hoof would also have been better.
The hair doesn't seem too odd to me... or perhaps that is because I haven't seen wild boars up close for a long time.
