Good angle. Sad u missed the focus a bit. the focus seems to be a bit in front of the bird... this could have been a really good shot...

The white branch on the lower right side of the frame is burnt. So composing by moving the camera to your left would have helped in avoiding the branch.
Which AF were you using? You can use Zoom browser to see where the AF point was placed.
