    Default Sambar Deer Duo

    Shot this at Kabini, the sambars are alert not becoz of our presence but there was a pack of wild dogs wandering the other side.

    Canon EOS 40D, Lens ES 100-400mm, Tv 1/160, Av 5.6, ISO 800

    Nice image. Liked the alert poses and the composition. The light was bad and the image is bit underexposed. You can try recovering the details.

    Typically when they are alert the tail is up. Also, while defecating the tail is up.

    Light was low. There appears to be a slight tilt and a slight clockwise rotation is needed.
