    Default Barking Deer

This was shot in Parambikulam a few days back...
Fellow was really close to the vehicle. I sneaked behind the vehicle to get a shot. Light was pretty low and used the vehicle as a rest to stabilise the shot.

Shutter speed was quiet low. There seems to be a slight movement of the head.

ISO 320?? Better to use ISO 400 as the intermediate ISOs are extrapolated by software.

It is better to ensure that the histogram is to the right so the shadow areas get more light. Also you will have less noise. I would crop from the left to remove the small tree stump on the left frame. Overall, gives a nice feel of the habitat.

Thank you Sabyasachi. I was caught up with getting the image sharp that I overlooked these factors... Will keep these in mind... A fill flash would have been ideal as it was close.

Nice environment photograph. Agree about the head movement. Look forward to more..
