I agree with your self-critique. A narrow aperture would have been good.

Nice clear perch. Would have liked some more space on top than on the bottom. Did you try any vertical compositions?

No Mrudul... I should have tried verticals... I didn't ....
Bibhav I guess you missed a good opportunity to photograph this Darter, the body, feathers look very sharp, had you got the the upper part in focus, this would have been an excellent shot!.
@ Praveen. You are right. I cursed myself to sleep for having missed the opportunity... I had the shutter speed to allow the Aperture to go narrower... I should have done it...
