Love the use of the low angle here... The sharpness is fine. More DOF would have covered the body. The water drop adds to the image. TFS
Is this calotes? Lovely low angle and eye contact. Agree about more DOF. Nice clean BG.

This is Skink. But, only on seeing the dorsal we can know the exact name.
J.C.Daniel's book of reptiles and amphibians is a good reference manual having details of snakes, frogs, skinks, angids and calotes.
I like the low angle and the eye contact. Shutter speed was less, so he could not have narrowed the aperture to f8 or higher.
