A nice bird. The eucalyptus frames it well. I wish you had avoided the OOF branch to the right.
This image shows how exotic plants have taken their place in our wilderness and our fauna and flora have adapted to them. They cause irrepairable damage to the ecosystem sometimes.

The eye contact is fine. A slight crop from the right would be better here. The image looks a bit more blue to me. Some more sharpening will be better. Thanks for sharing.
