Nice image. The calm water with slight waves gives a soothing effect to the photograph. The sun is still bright. It would have been good to see the sun closer to the horizon, as the intensity would have reduced.

A simple and nice composition. I agree that waiting for some more time would have helped as the Sun would have come down a bit and the intensity of that glow would have become lower. You could have got some more colours as well.
Alternately, if you use a graduated Neutral Density filter, the sun will appear toned down with the foreground lighted. Thanks for sharing.
