It was charging at our jeep for quite sometime. Then it stopped and just stood quietly infront of us. It was evening, and the light was quite bad.
Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, ISO 400, 1/25, f5, hand held.

Nice. Its close. The tree gives an idea that this fellow is a few years old. Generally, elephants after 2 years become excitable. I like the erect hairs on top of its head.
Though the toe nails are not cropped, little bit of space at the bottom would have strengthened the image. I like the sharpness despite the 1/25th of second shutter speed.

Good that you got this image sharp at 1/25 sec. I like the skin patterns on the trunk. Agree about the space at the bottom. The eye contact looks good and shows the aggression. Thanks for sharing.
