Nice colours. I have seen the bug before. Looks like a face of a man . Sorry cant help you with the name. The details on the flower are nice. Sharp.

The bug looks interesting. The branch on the top left doesn't add much to the image. Moving to the left would have helped in avoiding that. A longer focal length would have been good here in isolating the bug with the nicely coloured petals. Thanks for sharing.

Agree that the stick in the top left is a bit distracting. I like the colours in this image. The pattern on the bug's back looks like a red indian witch doctor mask.
A macro lens at a high F number would have worked wonders here.
Hello Bibhav / Sabyasachi / Mrudul,
Thanks for commenting ..
Is there any way I can remove the bg stick in LR ?
Thanks
Anu
Lovely pic...Beetle came very well...
However, I didn't understood why subject is kept in the middle of the frame.??
Assassination of rule of thirds..
I guess he is Catacanthus Incarnatus...
Also called as Man face beetle..
Hello Ashvary ,

LOL about the rule of thirds .. it took me a while to understand what this rule is
Thanks
Anu
