Nice environment image. The details on the body are nice. Would have liked it to be a bit more bigger in the frame. Were you able to get any close-ups? Thanks for sharing.

I agree with the composition. It is not easy to get the eyes and the slender neck of this species, especially in environmental portraits. In this image, I would have used a narrow aperture like f11. That would have brought down the shutter speed to 1/250. Since the bird was sitting still, it could have been possible.
I would also love to see such an image created with a high resolution cameras with lots of details. Thanks for sharing.
