    Default wall to wall egrets...

    photographed at kole wetland ,thrissur dist ,kerala..canon 1d marklll+canon 600mm f4 lens....f32,iso 50,1/10....i decreased the shutter speed too low to blur the flying birds so that they dont dominate in the pattern..this image won special mention in RBS Sanctuary wildlife photography awards this year...

    Different perspective. The slow shutter has definitely helped. Liked the image, simple but a different perspective. Thanks for sharing.

    Praveen,
    This is a lovely image. I was immediately reminded of Arthur Morris's BBC commended image from last year. You did very well here, as the birds are not stationary. So good idea to use a lower shutter speed.

    I got my copy of Sanctuary Asia yesterday and looked at the images. Personally, I would rate your image much higher than the prize winning images. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work.
