A deadening stare. A narrower aperture would have been better. The composition is nice.
The stare says it all. Nice expressions captured. I think the whole body is in focus, the hair and the details on the body are nicely visible. Thanks for sharing.

Nice capture.
Have always seen gaur with symmetrical horns. This is the first time I have seen a gaur with crippled horn.
Uploading a cropped version of the same shot to show the head so that depth of field issue becomes clear.
I too was surprised when I saw the horn during processing. Had not noticed it during photographing.
