Common Hoopoe took off after preening for a long time
Hi Chandrashekar,
I like the pose of the bird. The curved branch at the bottom frames it well. The catchlight is nice. I would sharpen the image a bit. There is negative space in the image. ie more space behind the bird. I would like to see some more space up front. Do post Equipment and EXIF info to allow better critiquing.
Thanks for sharing.
I like this image as it shows the bird taking off. The shutter speed appears to be low so the bird could not be "freezed" in the flight. However, it does lend a nice feel. The eye is parallel to the sensor plane and that is what enhances the appeal. Is this full frame?
Cheers,

Yes. This is a full frame. It took off so suddenly that I had no time to compose.
