    Default Darter sun bathing :D

Another one from Pirotan Island, Gujarat. This was photographed on the way back in the evening, from a moving launch.
Near full-frame, cropped of a narrow strip of sky from the top.

Camera Model Name Canon PowerShot SX10 IS
    Shooting Mode Aperture-Priority AE
    Tv (Shutter Speed) 1/320
    Av (Aperture Value) 5.6
    ISO Speed 100
Wish the angle wasn't so steep.

    Thanks, c&c welcome.

Nice pose. Wish the head was turned slightly towards you. A higher aperture would have been good. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mrudul. Didn't have much time to compose this since the launch was moving at top speed :-(. Agree about the aperture, but I was worried it would bring down the shutter speed (and the sun was setting fast).

A nice image. Agree with Mrudul regarding the aperture. The setting sunlight looks good. Thanks for sharing.

The camera seems to have focused on the wings of the bird, a little PP may help here.

It is difficult to get the head and wings of this bird in focus, unless it is in the same plane as the wings.
