Tiger skin Seized in Raid

Dear friends,

Got to know that a Tiger skin was seized at Kozhikode (Calicut) and 3 people have been arrested. The animal was shot in the neck. I believe the Tiger was shot some where in Wayanad. This really depressing ..... there are so few Tigers in Kerela .

An unfortunate news. For each tiger skin seized, there would be many more that have evaded the police. Unless and until we raise our level of protection, our wildlife will be wiped away. Without the wildlife, there can be no forests.

Too late... So one confirmed death..Poor Tiger Our laws are too weak. These poachers will soon be free and start killing again....Forest Department having not enough & trained staff and weapons to cope with these poachers and I think no shoot at sight permission like in Assam too...
