    Default Common Stonechat Scape.

    With my previous 135mm, I was used to trying Scapes due to lack of focal length. but here this scene made me want a scape and this is what I visualised. Have Close up shots but they are not all that great due to distractions.

    This is slightly cropped.

    Canon EOS 1000D, EF 300 F4L IS USM

    F 4
    ISO 200

    Processed in Lightroom 2.6

    I think the birds stands out clearly also another stem in front. Overall the picture is good.

    Why f4? Less space at the left would have strengthened the image.

    Nice display of habitat. You could have tried a narrower aperture. A slight head turn in your direction would have been better. Moving the camera more to the right would have strengthened the image further. Thanks for sharing.

    I wanted only the bird to be sharply in focus hence chose F4. I somehow liked the OOF shrubs
